Knoud in New York City (where Jackie Kennedy Onassis bought her riding hats) and thought then that equestrians should be able to have a riding hat of different colors, so she designed this one, and feels it is a classic.

She remembers the way she felt, emerging from the shade into the sunlight after seeing the beauty of the flower. Artist shows the emotion she felt after finding the Columbine, as it is rare, and against the law to pick.

Jan Sue Rossini, the sister of the artist, has been called Minnie Ha Ha (as her Native American name) since she was a child. With a touch of Surrealism in the juxtaposition of her eye, artist tries to show the symbolic beauty of Minnie Ha Ha.

“My Cat Named Skakes” Skakes was named after Jimmy Skakel, who was President of Great Lakes Carbon Company and he owned Rockefeller Center in New York City. Jimmy Skakel was a brother to Ethel Kennedy, wife of Robert Kennedy. Mr. Skakel became a friend of artist when she worked at the Metropolitan Club and they enjoyed reading the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal together in the Canadian Club in New York on Wednesday nights.
